"The Building of Ravanica" is a Serbian epic folk poem about Prince Lazar and Princess Milica. Milica reproaches Lazar that, unlike the old Nemanjić rulers, he has not built an endowment, so he resolves to build Ravanica. It is worth listening for its traditional epic voice and reflection on piety and legacy.
